The must-see event for women returns to the TSB Bank Arena, Wellington on 7-8 August this year.

The Women's Lifestyle Expo aims to stimulate the imagination of women of all ages, and with over 160 exhibitors, everyone attending is assured of a great time.

Variety is what has made the Women's Lifestyle Expo the major attraction it has become. Where else can you find information about midwifery services, health, education and parenting alongside stands selling speciality chocolates, art, lingerie and jewellery? And that's just scratching the surface of the exhibitors typically taking part in this expo. Health and wealth issues, fashion, beauty, the home, education, and leisure - it will all be there.

If you feel like a touch of shopping, a relaxing massage, a new haircut or want to find out about all the latest in products and businesses then the show will meet all your needs. Make it a girls day out or take some time out for yourself. The Expo has a cafe so you can have a coffee and watch the world go by.

This year, for the first time, the Expo will feature a cooking demonstration and seminar zone. Join New Idea Magazine’s Editor Hayley McLarin at her daily demonstrations where she will show you how to prepare quick and easy meals featured from the magazine. Other exhibitors will be conducting brief demonstrations on everything from scrapbooking to fashion ideas such as Annah Stretton’s new clothing creation, the Chameleon wrap.

This year brings a new look to the show and a larger focus on shopping so ladies don’t leave that eftpos card at home. At one site you can buy natural skincare while at another you can sample gourmet cheesecake. Around the corner on a different site you can try on shoes, have your hair straightened and yet on another, you can check out the brand new Mini Cooper cars.

With over 160 sites there is something for everyone. Bring your friends, mothers or daughters or simply enjoy a day to spoil yourself.

The Womens Lifestyle Expo features some fantastic local companies who will be showcasing their products and providing great Expo specials. As organiser Renee Murray says, “there are some fabulous companies in this region that many of us don’t know about because we simply don’t drive past that area or have always been meaning to visit but we get sidetracked with daily life and never get there. The Expo allows you to discover these companies in one fun day.” 

This expo promises to provide practical, fascinating and ingenious products and services, the expo is something you cannot afford to miss. But, it is in no way an event exclusively for women - Many of the exhibitors are men and those going along to the expo are encouraged to bring along their partners as well.

This expo has really struck a chord through its personal approach and ability to feature items not normally seen at other exhibitions. It is a must see event for women of all ages and if you want to showcase your company to thousands of women then exhibiting at the Women's Lifestyle Expo is perfect for you.
