Summer Festival Family Day Races 2010

Trentham hosts the Summer Festival Family Day at the Races on Wellington Anniversary Day 25 January, the most fantastic and fun family day at Trentham yet. Families are offered an amazing day out full of FREE kids entertainment, races, and loads more family fun.

The middle day of the 2010 Century City Developments Wellington Cup Carnival has become a unique experience of its own and a definite family favourite. Family Day is a day full of activities and this year is no different - we're having a Teddy Bears Picnic. The kids will be running around having such a blast that mums, dads, grandparents and caregivers will have time to enjoy the racing.

Join in the family concert with Dan & Dani and smile in delight at Kids’ Fashion in the Field. The free kids activities on offer include plenty of face painting, bouncy castles, races for the kids, watermelon eating competitions and more.

Grown ups (over 18) pay $10 at the gate, and the kids play all day long for free in a safe family environment.

Family Day is part of the Summer Festival - Holiday Fun At The Races programme, making it a fun day out with prize giveaways throughout the day and the excitement of live acts for the kids.

Register on the day before 12 noon for the Fashion in the Field competition and be in to win great prizes.
