Museum of Wellington's Wonderland Exhibition

The Wonderland exhibition at the Museum of Wellington celebrates 10 years of the museum being in the city.

To celebrate our 10th birthday on 27 November, this exhibition showcases the quirkier and more unusual objects from the Museum's collection with the theme of Alice In Wonderland - some on public display for the first time.

Climb down the rabbit hole and step into Wonderland - a world full of fascinating items that give you an insight into Wellington's social, cultural and maritime stories with an eccentric twist.

Join Vernon - the real-life personification of the Museum's collection management system - as he reveals the strange and whimsical objects that reside inside his world. Completed in the style and setting of a Mad Hatter's tea party, this exhibition will take you into a Wonderland of hidden treasures.

This event will appeal to the entire family and for anyone who is young at heart.
