A very popular beach with locals and visitors, Scorching Bay is the perfect place to visit on a hot Wellington summer’s day. With a large grassy area, sandy beach, a sheltered bay and picturesque views; it’s great for swimming and sunbathing. There are also changing sheds available.

Scorching Bay is also popular with divers, and occasionally a pod of orca may swim by with the odd seal or two popping up on the rocks.
